Seatback Safety: An Interactive In-Flight Safety Manual
Most passengers tune out the safety briefing, even though it covers what matters most in an emergency. For my User Interface Design course, I designed an interactive safety briefing for the seatback entertainment screen, using a Boston to Honolulu flight as the concept.
The experience greets passengers by seat and route, lets them choose their language, and moves through the safety information one screen at a time with a single Next button. To give people a reason to pay attention, completing the briefing earns a free snack and drink. Home, settings, and call buttons stay in the same place on every screen so passengers never get lost.
I built the full flow as a clickable Figma prototype sized for an 11-inch tablet screen.
